Network Product Manager
YOUR MISSION: Your mission is to build the best products that align with our vision to simplify our dispatching, scheduling and provider tracking into a highly connected mobility assistance platform. You will work closely with our customer experience, network and operations teams to understand our customer’s request for mobility assistance and match that against our custom networks to deliver on world class experience and service.
YOUR LEGACY: You led our Network team working collaboratively across all of Urgently and our 3rd party software integration partners. You talked to providers, scoping out and designing new features for our dispatch portal and driver applications that they use. You were a master communicator and collaborator in your role...case in point:
- You worked closely with your technical lead to groom the product backlog, triaged support issues and made sure you provided the engineering team with clearly defined requirements. You measured results and iterated on features driving metrics that matter.
- You have worked with customer facing UI applications and portals to enhance usability and overall user experience
- You worked with 3rd party B2B API software providers to enhance provider and customer experience.
- You worked closely with our network operations team constantly checking on the providers requests and pain points and as a result, our network provider happiness and overall engagement increased.
- You worked closely with our design team to direct the network provider experience ensuring a holistic cross platform experience.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Gain a strong understanding of the roadside industry to guide your strategy
- You communicate and work directly with providers and drivers to gather feedback.
- You go on ride-alongs to understand behavior.
- You will work with 3rd party suppliers to integrate and provide services.
Define metrics/KPIs for your work
- You work closely with our data science and BI teams to establish analytics and deliver insights.
- You measure every experiment being able to validate its’ impact and value.
- You over communicate with all key stakeholders on the performance of the network.
Establish a Network roadmap and become a product expert.
- You provide your vision for mid to long term strategy.
- You work with your team to prioritize and define products.
- You align your team's focus with overall enterprise level goals for the company.
Build tools to scale.
- You work with various teams to define, design and develop innovative solutions.
- You’re hands on when working on the user experience providing wireframe and flow to the design and tech team to convey your vision.
- You proactively sort out the most important things to work on and move fast.
- You make significant changes in policy and efficiency through the use of technology.
Define success and measure progress.
- You define and communicate product goals.
- You surface problems and dig-in to it fully to understand the root cause.
- You are curious about network operations and the impact on our business.
- You run experiments with the internal experts, which you incorporate in the end solution.

WHO YOU ARE:
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant equivalent plus hands-on software engineering experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment.
- Ability to develop initiatives, features, and user stories that the Development teams can ingest.
- A complete mastery of business side skills including communication, customer research, product vision, feature definition and technical architecture.
- You have some understanding and experience in working with 3rd party APIs to send data back and forth.
- You understand the concept of experimental design such as A/B testing and are familiar with statistical hypothesis testing.
- Your technical understanding must go from the highest abstractions down to the hardware.
- Proven technical leadership with experience working in the technology industry or automotive industry.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in an automotive tier-1 or tier-2 supplier of electronic components.

- You own the roadmap and people know it. Alongside your technical lead, you scope out and ensure alignment on the prioritization of projects based on business and customer impact. You also factor in technical debt and long term technical investment in the roadmap.
- You are always thinking about go-to-market strategies. You collaborate with stakeholders and dev/Project Management teams to create and communicate anticipated releases. You work with supporting sales, marketing and other stakeholders with necessary product knowledge and documentation.
- You know how to move quickly. You run pilot and beta programs with early stage products to learn and drive the business forward aggressively.
- Quality and performance matters to you. You are accountable for the product quality and performance in the production environment. You are also accountable for the product and dev teams response in the event of a major defect or blocker including communication to call stakeholders.
- You obsess over the success of your products. You identify the execution, operational and organization issues that prevent your product from being successful. You drive the improvement plan to change or resolve the issues.
THE NITTY GRITTY:
- Location = Great news! This position is remote and you have the option of working from anywhere in the U.S.!
- Manager = You’ll report to Director of Product Management
- Compensation = The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
